A-Ret 0.025% Gel (20gm) is a prescription topical retinoid (Vitamin A derivative) used mainly to treat acne, reduce fine lines, and improve skin texture. It works by increasing skin cell turnover, reducing oil production, and unclogging pores. It is generally applied in a thin layer at bedtime. Key Information & Usage Guidelines Active Ingredient: Tretinoin 0.025% w/w. Primary Uses: Acne vulgaris (pimples, blackheads, whiteheads) and anti-aging (reducing wrinkles/rough skin). Application: Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin, usually once daily at night. Side Effects: Common side effects include skin irritation, dryness, burning, stinging, and peeling. Precautions: Highly unsafe during pregnancy; avoid if pregnant or planning pregnancy.
